A signature cocktail is a great way to personalize an engagement party, bachelorette bash, wedding shower, or wedding—which is why experts suggest a taste test (no argument here!) to find the perfect match. “The goal is to create a drink that’s flavorful and beautiful,” says Paolo Patitucci, lead bartender at The Shore Club in Turks & Caicos. He advises coming up with a unique moniker for your cocktail, to make it a little extra memorable. “I’ve had couples name drinks in honor of their dogs or even after their favorite travel destinations!”

Here, we asked top bartenders and drink specialists for the one cocktail that’s always a hit at weddings.
