Britney Spears Just Shared a Never-Before-Seen Wedding Dance Video

We didn't think Britney Spears and her husband, Sam Asghari, could get any cuter—and yet! Spears took to her Instagram page yesterday to share a never-before-seen video of the happily married couple sharing a dance at their wedding, which took place last summer.

The video shows Spears and Asghari dancing to "Kiss," by Prince, on a colorfully lit-up stage surrounded by pink roses and pink-and-purple moving lights. With her blonde hair cascading down her back, Spears wore an oversized dark blazer and sparkly heels as she spun expertly around the dance floor with Asghari, who looked sharp in a black suit. And it's clear that the two were having the time of their lives—the smiles on their faces really say it all. "This is me before the dance floor was full," Spears wrote in the photo caption—so there's no doubt that this evening was a dance party for the ages.

After a five-year relationship, Spears and Asghari tied the knot at their wedding on June 9, 2022. They hosted the intimate event at their home in Los Angeles (guests apparently weren't even allowed to take iPhone photos), and the guest list, which hovered around 60 people, included celebrities like Paris Hilton, Madonna, Drew Barrymore, Selena Gomez, and Donatella Versace. And speaking of Versace, both Spears and Asghari sported stunning looks from the illustrious designer as they walked down the aisle; Spears in a custom off-the-shoulder gown featuring a sweeping train and cathedral-length veil, and Asghari in a sleek black tux. These weren't the only wedding ensembles, though—Spears reportedly had three outfit changes in total throughout the night. After hours of dancing with their guests, Spears and Asghari departed the reception in a white Rolls Royce with a "Just Married" sign on the back.

The celebrity couple, who met on the set of Spears's “Slumber Party” music video in 2016, got engaged in September of 2021, and Asghari proposed to Spears with a four-carat diamond ring designed by Forever Diamonds NY. The striking ring features pavé bridge detailing and a very cute engraving: "Lioness", Asghari's nickname for Spears, is written inside the band.
