Founded in 2016 by Kyha Scott, Chosen by KYHA, an extension of Scott's inaugural line KYHA, was created as a way to provide accessible dresses for brides who favor more daring and bold designs. With a ready-to-wear business model, the Australian brand aims to blur the line between bridal and fashion, releasing looks that celebrate modern-day aesthetics and silhouettes—all while pushing the narrative that individuality is key when it comes to wedding day attire. Today, though based in Melbourne, Australia, Chosen by KYHA can be found in over 20 countries across the globe, online, and at the brand's flagship locations in Melbourne, Sydney, and New York City.
KYHA Fall 2024
Titled "Sunset Boulevard," Kyha Scott notes that her Fall 2024 collection draws inspiration from the vast array of aesthetics that exists within the world, in addition to the "concepts of individuality and light." This is emphasized by the integration of party dresses, ball gowns, mermaid silhouettes, and sequin ensembles (among others), all of which address different bridal and personal styles.

KYHA Fall 2023
For its Autumn/Winter 2023 collection, titled "Sur le Sel", the brand remains true to its design ethos, releasing dresses that are not only daring but otherwordly within the realm of bridal fashion. Featuring two-piece halter ensembles, multiple mix-and-match pieces, and skin-barring lace gowns, Sur le Sel is a nod to KYHA's Australian roots, "drawing inspiration from crystalline terrain," shares the brand on its latest release. "A theme of soft draping carries through the collection, a nod to moonlike rolling salt dunes, while Chosen by KYHA's bespoke beading emulates shimmering salt crystals that dance in the light. A myriad of cracks carve a meandering web across salt expanses, provoking the addition of lace to explore the dichotomy between hard and soft."
