Galia Lahav Couture gowns have a reputation of romance, with figure-flattering silhouettes and intricate details. Galia Lahav Couture Spring 2024

Inspired by the opera Carmen, which follows a love affair between a soldier and an independent woman, Galia Lahav Couture’s AMOR collection captures the intensity of love. Floral details stitched across billowing ball gowns and elegant, lace fit-and-flare pieces are a tribute to the romantic spirit and timeless beauty of the opera. Following the dramatic work’s lead, this line encourages brides to express themselves by ditching the norm with bold looks. “I wanted to create a collection that celebrates the fierce and unbridled spirit of love,” says Sharon Sever, head designer at Galia Lahav. “AMOR is about empowering brides to be fearless, expressive, and adventurous to explore the passion that burns within.”

Inspired by the way a bride moves on the dance floor, this collection, named after ABBA's "Dancing Queen," is a homage to a woman's artistic heart and free spirit. It draws inspiration from two prominent ballerinas, resulting in a lookbook of romantic styles with corset tops, sheer paneling, and light-as-air overskirts.
