Designer Kate Halfpenny started her career after graduating with a bachelor's degree in fashion design in 1998 and a master's degree in textiles soon after. Her technical skills, as well as experience as a stylist, have made her eponymous brand, Halfpenny London, a popular label among brides all over the world. A friend and stylist of British icons like Kate Moss and Erin O’Connor, Halfpenny combines "Brit cool" with vintage inspiration to create modern, eye-catching designs.
Below, the latest collections from Halfpenny London.
Halfpenny London Fall 2024
Titled "Chapter Two," Kate Halfpenny's newest collection is an effortless curation of mix-and-match pieces for brides who favor individuality over tradition when it comes to wedding fashion. This new line also seeks to highlight the "calm and chaos" brides typically experience throughout their wedding planning process—two themes that have the ability to work together to create a work of art.
As noted in the collection's press release, "In Chapter Two, serenity and order is personified in crisp tailoring, structure, and graphic lines, while chaos is playfully revealed in decadent, 3D floral accents, exaggerated volume, and sheer, liquid-like tulles which flow like water. Throughout the design process, Kate found that when pairing those opposing elements together, rather than canceling each other out, the combination of the two extremes became greater than the sum of its parts. This alchemy inspired a magical collection to challenge and delight a new generation of Halfpenny London brides." Ahead, keep scrolling to see highlights from Halfpenny London's Fall 2024 collection.
As it is our absolute commitment that all brides see themselves in our coverage, our editorial team has worked with the brand to confirm that this collection meets the standards outlined in our diversity pledge.

"I am a naturally curious person as a stylist as well as a designer, and I’m constantly searching for that little seed of inspiration, that little bit of magic. I’m lucky to be surrounded by an incredible team and have worked with them to evolve this collection, playing with fabrics and construction," shares the designer. "Textiles are a constant inspiration and we’ve had fun this season with flowing Duchess satin, delicious weighty crepes, and featherlight, crunchy taffeta, creating wondrous drama in striking silhouettes. From plunging necklines and oversized trains, to exquisitely cut, figure-hugging gowns with slim detachable sleeves, to modern corsets with meters of liquid-like satin skirts with high leg splits, there’s something for everyone.
