Jillian Michaels and DeShanna Marie Minuto Are Married!

Congratulations are in order for Jillian Michaels, who said “I do” to DeShanna Marie Minuto during an intimate ceremony in Namibia, Africa, People confirms. The fitness trainer and her now-wife kicked off the wedding festivities with a courthouse ceremony on July 11, 2022, in Miami, Florida, then headed to the southern African country for a private ceremony and honeymoon. 

“DeShanna Marie Michaels, it’s an honor and an adventure saying ‘I do’ to you,” Michaels told People she said to Minuto. “Finding you, my person, and eloping in Africa together has been one of the most magical and transformative chapters of my life.”

The celebrations won't stop here. The newlyweds also plan on hosting their official wedding party on June 23, 2023, in Venice, Italy.

The Fitness App by Jillian Michaels creator has been dating Minuto since 2018. Three years after they first became linked, Michaels popped the question with a seven-carat emerald-cut diamond, which was framed with two trapezoid diamonds, each at one carat. 

“DeShanna is all the things: beautiful, smart, funny, creative, quirky, passionate,” Michaels said to People about her engagement. “Those characteristics obviously attract you to someone, but it’s the quality of their character that makes you think, ‘Thank God for this person laying next to me’ every night when you fall asleep.”
