Choosing a hotel in a city like Nashville can be stressful, especially when you have a group filled with different personalities; that’s why Patil broke it down for us. “If you want to stay in a hotel, our top four picks include Noelle, a downtown boutique mid-century modern hotel with a nice rooftop bar called Rare Bird with killer city views; the Westin Nashville downtown, which has a great rooftop pool party scene; Urban Cowboy in East Nashville, a charming eight-suite ultra-boutique hipster hideaway in a historic Victorian mansion (be sure to check out its equally cool bar Public House); or The Thompson, a luxury chic hotel in the heart of the Gulch neighborhood."

The Gulch: If you're looking to be close to the hustle and bustle of downtown but not in the middle of it, try a hotel in the Gulch. The neighborhood is best known for its restaurants, fashion-forward stores, and chic hotels.

Germantown: Germantown is a charming section of Nashville known for its rich history. In the area, you'll find local boutiques and critically acclaimed restaurants, making it a perfect spot for a relaxing bachelorette weekend.

12South: Spanning a half-mile along 12th Avenue South is the neighborhood of 12South. The area is full of gourmet restaurants, vintage shopping, quaint coffee houses, and more. This area is definitely on the busier side, so if you are looking for a party, this is your place.

East Nashville: The laid-back, artsy side of Nashville can be found in the East Nashville neighborhood. While it's pretty residential, there are also tons of trendy hotels and chic Airbnb's to choose from.

For larger groups, check out the many Airbnb and Sonder house rentals, which are perfect for hosting groups. “There are great options in all neighborhoods, here are a few of our favorites in East Nashville, Music Row, 12South, and Germantown,” says Patil.

It's no secret that Nashville is a hotspot for all things food-related. Whether you are looking for a boozy brunch or a trendy dinner spot, Nashville has it all and more. Below are a few of our favorite spots in the city to dine at, but chances are, you won't go wrong with any place you end up at!

What to Do

Best Daytime Activities

From iconic music locales to boozy brunch photo-ops, there are tons of Nashville spots you need to hit during your bachelorette getaway with the girls. First, start your day off by taking a tour of the famous Grand Ole Opry and get a backstage look at where some of the most famous names in country music perform. Then, for a unique and Insta-worthy experience, book a Mural's and Mimosas tour, where you'll get to have a mini photoshoot in front of Nashville's colorful murals while stopping for a mimosa flight!

Other daytime activities include taking a line-dancing class to prep yourself for partying at the honky-tonks all night or going on a relaxing wine tasting tour at the Arrington Vineyards.

Best Nighttime Activities

We all know Nashville is all about the music. If you’re in town for a bachelorette party, you’ve got to visit a honky-tonk! “The best honky-tonks filled with abundant live music and dancing are all located downtown on Broadway, lovingly referred to as ‘NashVegas.’ Our favorites include Tootsies, Robert's Western World, the Stage, and FGL House,” adds Patil. 

She also told us that if you’re a bride looking for a more low-key but truly unique music experience, try to book a spot at the famous Bluebird Café or Listening Room Café to hear the best songwriters in town.

For a quick break from the country scene, there are plenty of fun nighttime spots off Broadway. For example, Flamingo Cocktail Club, Pinewood Social (this spot also has bowling!), and Rosemary & Beauty Queen, which is a cocktail bar with unique inside-outside vibes, are all great options. For groups that want to get active, there’s a bunch of beautiful hikes nearby in Percy Warner Park or Radnor Lake State Park.

How to Get Around

In general, most travelers use Uber or Lyft to get around Nashville. One of the most unique things about getting around Nashville for a bachelorette weekend is the plethora of party vehicles that can escort you and your group around town. For example, there’s a Nashville Party Tractor, Party Fire Engine, Party Barge, Party Wagon, and more.

Nashville Bachelorette Party Itinerary

Day One 

• Morning: Start your trip off right with brunch at the Mockingbird, located in the Gulch neighborhood. Whether you're in the mood for an oversized doughnut, epic burger, or tasty eggs, you'll find exactly what you're looking for at this delicious spot.
• Afternoon: Spend a few hours in the afternoon soaking in the sunshine and sipping craft cocktails at Pinewood Social while you wait for the rest of your group to arrive. Check out the bowling alley for a fun activity.
• Evening: After being out all day, grab a low-key dinner from Butcher & Bee (the perfect option for takeout while you’re getting ready for your night out!). Get picked up by the Nashville Party Tractor for a night on the town you won’t forget. Finish the night in Midtown at Losers Bar & Grill, the place that inspired Chris Young’s song "Lonely Eyes."

Day Two

• Morning: Get your caffeine fix from Drew’s Brews Coffee because you’re going to need it. Rally the troops and head to a country line dancing lesson for a quintessentially Nashville experience (plus learn skills that will come in handy later tonight!).
• Afternoon: After working up a sweat, reward yourself with drinks outside at one of Nashville’s best craft breweries: East Nashville Beerworks. If beer isn’t your thing, head to the Pearl Diver for tiki-themed cocktails in a great indoor/outdoor space.
• Evening: Get dressed up for a nice dinner out at Rolf & Daughters in the hip Germantown neighborhood. A trip to Nashville isn’t complete without a visit to Broadway to check out a honky-tonk or two. Start the evening at FGL House (which has three floors of music), and make your way to The Stage, a timeless Nashville classic.

Day Three

Now that you’ve explored all that Nashville has to offer in Germantown, East Nashville, and downtown, it’s time to head to 12South, one of the cutest and most walkable parts of the city. 

• Morning: Grab breakfast at Frothy Monkey. They have lots of items to go, so depending on how the group is feeling, you can either dine in or pick up something small to go.
• Afternoon: Do some shopping in 12South. Be sure to check out White’s Mercantile and Draper James, a clothing company founded by Reese Witherspoon and inspired by her grandparents. Nurse your hangover over tacos and margaritas at trendy Mexican spot Bartaco.
• Evening: Cap off an incredible weekend with dinner at Sunda in the Gulch. Sunda serves a Southeast Asian–inspired cuisine in a sleek setting with amazing cocktails to match. After dinner, head across the street and finish the weekend off with cocktails at LA Jackson, the rooftop bar of the Thompson Hotel (a great, relaxed scene amidst the hustle and bustle of the Gulch neighborhood).
